This story is why I love Geist Magazine. The story is unique. It feels real. In few words, it is able to make me relate to and understand the main character. Although it didn’t win in Geist’s annual postcard story contest back in 2010, it remains as the story that has perhaps forever found a home in a small crevice of my brain. A story about unrequited love and a gorilla.
